I had a crazy week and very few time for any TV or news, let alone Olympics. I just realized Maria Luisa Calle won Colombia’s second medal in the Cycling Track – Women’s Points Race event!
After looking around for several minutes I finally found the link with Colombia’s current medal count at the Olympics site. Colombia’s Olympic Committee was founded in 1936, participating 15 times in the games. 1972 is the year the most medals were won (3 of them).
