If I have to search for this again I think I’ll bang my head somewhere. I hate it when the requirements for an application that supposedly supports security omit the most basic information – like what libraries or packages are needed!
I started with useless errors about missing files, then after searching the Mdk10 packages with strings like SFTP, SSH, etc. I realized I actually needed the openssh, openssh-clients and openssh-server packages to be able to use SSH2 with gFTP.
Thanks to Brandon Hutchinson for sharing, that’s why I am passing this. I know, I should RESFM before complaining (Read Every Single Fine Manual).
